Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and LMDBT LLC dba Nado Karts concerning your access to and use of our website and rental services.

1. Rental Eligibility

  • Age: All drivers must be at least 21 years old.

  • License: A valid government-issued driver’s license is required.

  • Insurance: Proof of valid auto insurance is required for all renters.

2. Prohibited Uses You agree NOT to operate the vehicle:

  • On the Coronado Bridge: This is strictly prohibited and illegal.

  • On Highway 75 (Silver Strand): Our Low Speed Vehicles (LSVs) are not street legal on roads with speed limits over 35 MPH.

  • Under the Influence: Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and subject to California DUI laws.

  • Off-Road: Vehicles must remain on paved roads at all times.

3. Reservations & Cancellations

  • Cancellation: Full refunds are provided for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the reservation start time.

  • Late Return: Vehicles returned late may incur additional fees.

4. Damages & Security Deposit

  • A refundable security hold of $250 will be placed on your credit card at the time of rental.

  • You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle during your rental period. Damages exceeding the security deposit will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • While we expect a little beach dust, vehicles returned with excessive sand, mud, wet upholstery, or trash will incur a $35.00 detailing fee.

5. Limitation of Liability By renting a vehicle, you assume all risks associated with its use. Nado Karts is not liable for personal injury or property damage arising from the use of our vehicles. A full liability waiver must be signed prior to operating the vehicle.

6. SMS and Text Messaging Terms

  • Description of Use Cases: Nado Karts uses SMS messaging to provide customers with booking confirmations, delivery updates, and customer support replies.

  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and reservation status.

  • Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

  • Opt-Out & Help Instructions: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or contact us directly at [email protected].

  • Carrier Liability Disclaimer: Mobile carriers (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website, submit forms, and opt-in to receive SMS text messages.
